Is this Normal
  • Hi All,

        When we set up our Station with Active911, I had to figure out how to get the calls from our Fire Control to Active911. 

    How it is set up -

    1. Fire control send a Incident call through there base station (SMS)

    2. I have gone through Essedex Media who gave me a Internet Mobile phone Number, which cost $20 a month.

    3. This mobile number recieves the SMS from firecontrol and converts into a Email

    4. The email is sent to Active911 servers

    5. Active911 recieves the email and activates the Active911 App.


    Sounds like it takes some time to do, but when we get Incident calls it work very quickly.

    My question is this the way I should of gone about setting this up? Or is there an easier way?
