See groups from the user box
  • I think that we need to be able to see what groups a member is in from either the edit device or edit user page...instead of having to go to edit pagegroup to see who is in them.

Because if you need to see all of the groups that someone is in, you cant do it without manually looking in each pagegroup.

So when you have someone leave a department (like a VFD for example) and that group is the last group they were a member of, and you don't realize that, then you have someone taking up a license who isn't in any groups.

Which leads to....being able to see who is not in any groups, who has never gone "on duty" (in a selectable time frame?), who has never activated their device...so there should be a button "Inactive users". That way, admins can contact the users to see if they need some help setting up, or remove them from the system if they arent using the product, freeing up the license for someone who will.

  • I've been asking for that for a while.  When you create a new user, especially if there's a few you need to add, it's tough to use the groups.  You have to add the users, then figure out who you added and go to each group and type in and select each name.  If you could just put a check in each group that they should be a member of when creating the device, it'd be much easier; especially if you have any groups setup.
  • Users should also be displayed the same, globally, last name first or first name last...but not both.

Also a box to search for a user or group instead of having to sift through page after page of users...
