Response selection reset on second notification
  • When we get a call and select our response, if the call gets dispatched again because apparatus has not yet responded, it appears that all those that have selected their response get reset and they have to hit their response again. This is problematic since our members are usually driving to the station at this point and shouldn't be messing with their phones. Anyone else having this problem?

  • Did you read the homepage of these forums?
    • Welcome!

While not intended to replace traditional tech support, we've created this Community of Practice forum to allow Active911 users direct contact with everyone else in the Active911 world. We have forums for various device types, dispatch/CAD setups by manufacturer, and much more!

Feel free to post your successful implementations, workarounds, mapping questions and anything else you wish to discuss in the appropriate categories. While this Community of Practice is moderated and administered by Active911, we will not always see or be able to respond to all issues and questions posted here. Think of this more of a place to ask another user how they are doing things in their account.

This is an area to discuss A911 w/ other USERS. They do occasionally answer questions here, but technical support is best left to opening a ticket w/ their customer support- if you are having an issue.

  • Yeah, calling in is pointless.

  • Under the agency settings, you can "discard" duplicate alerts. You could try that
  • Discarding duplicate alerts would probably fix your problem.  But the real answer here is to call in or email.  The support staff is there all the time, just waiting to help.  You said calling in was "pointless" - did you have a bad experience with them at some point?
