CAD Number not showing on SMS
  • I've had several members that don't have smartphones complain they do not receive the run number on text messages. They only see the active911 number.
  • I don't know for sure, but I think that is by design.  The SMS users won't get all of the details in the SMS as to keep the message shorter.  If they are an SMS user that you setup as a "Smartphone" then they will have a URL to click that they will see the rest of the details including the CAD run number.  If they are setup as "Cell Phone"  only, then they will only see the type of incident and address without the URL to link to.
  • The Active911 number shows in the SMS, but not the run #.  I'm not sure if any department uses the Active911 over their own district's run number.
